Mena Alexandera Suvari, born in 1979 is an American actress, model and designer. Her birth date was 13 February 1979. Shortly after beginning her career as an actress Mena Alexandra Suvari starred as an actress in the 1990s on television shows Boy Meets World and High Incident. The actress made her debut in film in the drama film Nowhere. Her performances in American Beauty - for which she was nominated to receive the BAFTA Award - and American Pie and American Pie, which earned much attention and recognition, she was able to move into larger roles. She was in the film industry for a year, and was in American Pie alongside American Pie co star Jason Biggs. She then played the lead character for the role of Sugar & Spice (2000). In 2002, she was a part in Spun the drama by an independent company and 2004's thriller Trauma. Other appearances on HBO include the comedy Six Feet Under. In 2008 she was cast in a string of films which included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the adaptation film of The Garden of Eden. She has been a strong advocate and supporter of the African Medical and Research Foundation.
